Colombia - Recruitment Lot - 1lb

The Recruitment lot is core to Unblended's mission to enhance the coffee industry in Colombia and equip young producers in the country to take their farms to the next level so that they are set up for long and successful careers. Young producers interested in the program can bring the coffee they are already growing to have it evaluated with the goal of being able to contribute to the current Recruitment lot. This allows them to get a premium for what they are already growing, as well as creating opportunities to work with Unblended's highly experienced mentors so that they can hopefully offer their own single-origin lots one day.

By pooling together high-quality lots from many small farms, Unblended is able to create a consistent, year-round lot that highlights the region and helps support their mission to empower the next generation of Colombian coffee farmers. We're thrilled to be partnered with them on this goal!

As for the coffee itself, it's a washed lot sourced from farmers in Andes, Sonson, Cauca and Huila. Expect notes of sugarcane, chocolate, and tangerine in this delightfully smooth brew.
